KATHMANDU: Fairfield by Marriott, Kathmandu has been organizing Thai food festivals from September 30 till October 9. The event is aimed at giving customers the authentic taste of Thailand. The 10 days long Food Festival will be led by the guest Chef Kroongtana Nimnu, exclusive from Thailand.

With over 19 years of experience in promoting Thai cuisine across the world, Chef Nimnu has worked with some reputed international hotels chains like Royal Angkor Silk Hotel – Cambodia, Le- Meridian, and Westin.

He is bringing the authentic flavors and aromas of Thai cuisine to Nepal and will prepare countless scrumptious dishes like Tom Yum Goong (Spicy Shrimp Soup) and Tom Kha Kai (Coconut based Chicken Soup) – mains like Kao Na Phet (Duck with rice), Som Tum (Raw Papaya Salad), Pad Thai noodles, Gaeng Keow Wan Kai (Green Thai Chicken Curry) and dessert option like sweet sticky rice, egg custard many more.
